Man City will be hoping to take advantage of Liverpool’s defeat against Everton to leapfrog the Reds into second place in the Premier League.
In order to do that they’ll need to defeat Brighton away but it’ll be a tough ask as Robert De Zerbi’s side have lost just twice at home in the Premier League this season.
A draw would also see City go into second.

Brighton are ravaged by injuries as Solly March, Kaoru Mitoma, Jack Hinshelwood, Tariq Lamptey, Billy Gilmour, Evan Ferguson, Pervis Estupinan and James Milner are all absent due to various injury issues.
Estupinan was ruled out for the season after a calf injury suffered against Burnley.
On a more positive note, Adam Webster is available again after recovering from injury, but it’s likely Lewis Dunk and Jan Paul van Hecke will continue in the heart of the defence.
Joao Pedro is Brighton’s top scorer in the league this season, and with Evan Ferguson out again with injury, he’ll be relied upon in the final third.

Phil Foden and Erling Haaland both missed training on Tuesday and Pep Guardiola has confirmed that the latter is out for this one, which means a start in the centre-forward position for Julian Alvarez.
Rodri and Bernardo Silva have showed signs of fatigue after playing lots of football recently, and the Portuguese midfielder complained of a tight calf and hamstring after the FA Cup semi-final win against Chelsea, so he could be rested.
Guardiola will be hoping Foden has shaken off whatever issue kept him from training on Tuesday as he has 21 goal contributions in the Premier League.
