Spontaneous Memorial to Flaco, the Eurasian Eagle Owl who escaped from the Central Park Zoo on February 2, 2023. He lived over a year in the wilds of NYC until he collided with a building on February 23, 2024.
The memorial was at the base of a tree Flaco favored, and was the tree he was in the last time I saw him.
